There’s something fitting about bringing together people who love lettering and type in one of Bristol’s oldest pubs. The Stag and Hounds pub in Bristol, with its dark wooden panelling, worn-in character and centuries of history within its walls is a setting that already has all the makings of a secret society. So I wanted the identity to have that feeling; a little mysterious, a little old-school, and with the sense that you’ve stumbled across something you weren’t supposed to know about.
